How to Save Android Apps to SD card (Memory Card, Micro SD Card) for offline installation for free

There are many android apps which are useful for us but it is not possible to keep all useful apps installed on our phone because the capacity of phone memory is limited and every app cannot be installed on external SD card.

We may need some apps occasionally and we want those apps when we really need it, but keeping those apps installed always is like carrying a thing always which you need occasionally. Yes, you might be thinking that when we need the required apps we may download that and use it.

Yes, you are right but what about data charges and time to download that app and you may not have good internet connectivity always.

So it would be better if you are able to save apps somewhere which can be installed whenever you want to install without downloading.

You can do this using some apps. Today I will write about an app which will do the above-mentioned task.

By using this app you can save installed apps to phone memory or external SD card wherever you want. And even you uninstall the app you will be able to install it again without downloading the app. You can also send apps that you have backed up to another mobile through Bluetooth.

This app which will keep the backup of installed apps is named as "App Backup & Restore". You can download this app from this link (DOWNLOAD) and install it.

After installing the app from above link follow these procedures:-

1. Open (Run) the app installed. You will see the list of installed apps.

2. At the right side of each app and at the right bottom you will find the checkbox. Check the apps you want to backup or check the right bottom checkbox to select all apps to backup and then press "Backup" button. Here I have selected all apps.

3. After some time (depending on the number of apps) you will see finished message then press done.

4. At the top, you will find ARCHIVED tab, click it then you will see the apps that have been backed up.

5. Additionally, you may go to the settings section of this app and customize settings as per your need. You can change location for backup (Edit Backup Path) apps and maximum versions of apps to keep and many more options. In settings section go to "Edit Backup Path" and note the path so that you can locate the backup files.

6. Now you have done the backup and you can see the apps files. Go to "My Files" or "File Explorer" on your phone and go to SD Card, then you will find a folder named "App_Backup_Restore", open it. You will see the app files you have backed up. These are the apps you can send to another mobile through Bluetooth or simply click it to install or you may go to the "App Backup & Restore" app and then to the "ARCHIVED" tab and check the apps you want to restore (install) and then click "Restore" button.
