'Free Basics' program which was recently purposed to be launched in India is the program by which its users could use certain services offered by this program. 'Free Basics' program doesn't mean to be the free Internet for its users. Through this program, users could only use certain limited websites/blogs.
In this program, users would be provided with the list of websites/blog which can be browsed without any cost.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of the 'Free Basics' program?
Advantages
- Users could get free information from limited websites/blogs.
- Users who are not within reach of the Internet or those who couldn't afford to purchase Internet data would be benefited from the 'Free Basics' program.
Disadvantages
- Users will get low-quality information and limited information only because 'Free Basics' program will create the monopolistic environment.
- Quality of information currently users are getting will deteriorate day by day.
A blogger who wants to create value to its visitors through blog posts.
