No one can be totally independent. Meaning of in-dependency is to be limited when you say you are independent.

What is in-dependency?
Who can be independent?
Who is called independent?

Generally, we think that independent persons are those who earn enough money.
Is it the correct definition?

If yes, then what about personal help from others?
What about using services from others?

Can any individual live without any help from others?
Can anybody live solely in this world?

There are many questions like above which need to be analyzed and answered considering many aspects.
Speaking precisely, an independent person is that person who can live in sole condition without any help from others.

There is no one on this earth who is totally independent. How can anyone be totally independent? It's totally impossible to be fully independent.

One can earn a lot of money but cannot provide all the services required of them by themselves. If you have lots of money then you may be able to purchase the things available for sale. In this case, you cannot manufacture all the things you need. You can be manufacturer but what about labor and machinery needed to manufacture the things. Definitely, you will need human resources and other resources to do anything. Earning money a lot doesn't mean that everything is in your hand. You can take an example and think deeply. You will find that no one can be totally independent in this world. Level of in-dependency may vary person to person.

Increasing level of in-dependency is good but you can never be totally independent and never try to be, it's impossible.

"Never keep an ego that you are independent, always keep in mind that you can only increase the level of in-dependency".
