Don't worry if you have done so. You can still use the card but you may have to do a bit of effort to save yourself from loss.
There are two sets of numbers in recharge card. One is PIN code covered by black paint which you often scratch to recharge your mobile/sim. And another set of numbers is Serial Number (S. No.) generally found above the PIN code (shaded area).
All you need to do is call customer care center of that particular network which card you want to recover.
- For Nepal Telecom (NTC) user call 1498.
- For N Cell users call 9005.
- For Sky Phone user call 191
After calling reach to customer care executive after by punching required extension as recommended by the automated voice. Then when you are able to talk to customer care executive explain to them that you have mistakenly omitted PIN code while scratching.
Further, they will guide you to recover PIN code in the way as per their rules. They may call you to visit yourself personally with the card to their office.
Finally, you will save from loss by recovering your PIN code.
