| How to fix/troubleshoot/solve "error code 2000 - 0142 Validation 23077 in Dell INSPIRON N 5110 |
My laptop was having problems such as slow responding, slow startup, and slow shutdown. I searched for solutions on the web and tried many but neither of them solved the problem. And finally, i found somewhere on the web that it may be because of internal hard disk failure.
Then I use the diagnostic feature on my Dell INSPIRON N 5110 and found the hard disk error and message displayed was as shown in image of this post. Then i tried to find the solution on dell website but as my laptop was out of warranty period i could not replace hard disk at free of cost and response from Dell website was " Critical issue, please contact Dell support center" . Then i called support center and said the error code displayed. They said that hard disk should be replaced and there are no alternate solutions. And then i made backup of all data's of my laptop.
And finally re installed windows from start up by formatting all the partition of the hard disk. Windows was installed properly and finally, my laptop gave normal performance as it used to before Hard Disk error. And finally problem was solved.

How you made back up? Did you changed to new hard drive
ReplyDeleteI just copied all important files to external hard disk for backup. No, I used same hard disk and till now I am using the same without any errors.
DeleteAs my laptop was slow, anyhow I managed to copy all the important files on external hard disk and then reinstalled windows from scratch and during fresh installation I formatted the internal hard disk and then made fresh partition.
