Appointment of Registrar & Delegation of powers by Registrar in association or society

Appointment of Registrar

(1) The government of Nepal shall appoint one Registrar to register associations or societies and perform such other functions as prescribed, subject to this Act and the Rules framed under this Act.

(2) The remuneration and other conditions of service of the Registrar shall be as prescribed.

Delegation of powers

The Registrar may delegate any of the powers conferred to him/her pursuant to this Act or the Rules framed under this Act to any officer subordinate to him/her.
